The One and Only Crane Island

Crane Island is a community that I first became acquainted with when I heard about the Southern Living Idea Home back in 2019. This was an incredibly sumptuous newly constructed home built in the historic style of the low country, popular in the mid to late 19th Century.

Here is an example of a spec home that is currently being offered for sale. Names "The Belle," this home features 5,138 square feet and is currently being offered for $3.55M.

An incredibly elegant community, featuring 113 homesites, and located on a small island in the Intracoastal waterway near Amelia Island, this island refuge was developed with an effort to maintain the gorgeous live oak tree canopy. With mature Oak trees abound, it seems as if these homes have been here for over a century, but of course, they are all brand new. Below is a video that we produced over a year ago, and we will be visiting this charming place again in the near future with the goal of producing another video update.
